The Cinderella Myth at BTaP

I love the Beat to a Pulp ezine.  And I'm happy to announce that I have a story up there this week called "The Cinderella Myth".  David has published my Sci-fi bounty hunter story, a Western, a Steampunk Fantasy serial, and now a crime story.  You've got to love an editor who trusts a writer no matter what genre pool they jump into.  Thank you, David!

"The Cinderella Myth" was originally written for the Watery Grave Invitational last year.  After it didn't place I left it sit for a while pulling it out every now and then to tinker with it.  I liked the story but it seemed to be missing something.  When I pulled it back out a month ago I'd been reading some fairy tales and tinkering with an idea for a new story.  As I read over the story I realized that it wanted to be a Cinderella story of sorts, so I went with it.  Of course, there's no happily ever after but then life doesn't always give you what you want, does it?
