The Fifth Annual Bartleby Snopes Writing Contest has opened for submissions. There is a $10 fee to enter. There is only one rule for this contest. The story must be entirely dialogue, no narration and that includes no tag lines like he said/she said. Stories must be under 2000 words. The deadline is September 15. You can find all the details here. The winners are published and there is prize money.
Now I don't generally post fee-based contests but this one intrigued me. I've written flash that is dialogue only but never a longer story. For those who have trouble with dialogue this would make a great writing exercise, even if you decide not to enter.
