Penumbra - A Caution

Back a while ago I posted up a call for submissions by Penumbra emag which is published by Musa Publishing.  They have some wonderful themes and payment is 5cents a word.  A pro market, right?  Well, this morning I read a post by Ann Leckie, the current secretary of the SWFA, who has a caution for all those submitting to Penumbra.  While they do pay for stories, they don't pay all writers, so please read your contracts carefully and don't be afraid to tell them no.  Watch your backs out there!
