Why Do You Write?
I look at this woman's face and read about her life and I find myself asking a million questions. There is so much story there in the whys. I write because I want answers that will satisfy my curiosity.
She reached the end of her rope and it was either kill herself or walk away. It's that eleven year journey that interests me. I wonder how the hitchhikers talked her into going with them, I wonder how she thought living under a bridge was better than taking care of her children, and I wonder why she decided to come back now. There's so much there to explore and try to understand.
