Flavorwire is sponsoring a short story contest in honor of Short Story Month. They're accepting short stories up to 5000 words in any genre with a May 17 deadline. Yep, it's short notice but I know you folks out there can do it. There's no fee to enter and the winner receives $500 and publication on the Flavorwire site. You can find the details here
