I am done writing stories for specific themes. What do you do with these stories when they don't take them?
And this is especially troublesome in a zine you have not published in and feels no commitment to you. How do you feel about this, Sandra?
With this theme there wouldn't be a lot of problem finding a new market, fairy tales are popular now and many of the sci-fi/fantasy zines publish them.
I enjoy submitting to markets that don't know me, Patti, especially if the story is accepted. Being published in the same zines all the time bothers me in that I don't know if they're publishing me because they know me or because they like the story. :) I know that sounds weird, but sometimes I feel the need to know that it's the writing and not my name that sells the story.
