What We Write

Clicking around the Internet I found this blog post written by Fran Wilde about her story "Clearly Lettered in a Mostly Steady Hand".  The post makes you really think about how we write and whether we're brave enough to peel back layers of ourself to find that one true story.  You can read her story here at Uncanny.

That's worth reading, for sure.

Lots of writers have blogs. Mine is nothing but short fiction pieces, because it didn't seem like the world needed to hear me bloviating. But some writers, like Fran Wilde, have really got something to say, as themselves, that people need to hear.
