Just a Quick Note
I finally bought myself a new computer yesterday and got it set up and running today, I'm still figuring out how things work so postings may be a little lite for a while.
You don't know how many times I wish for my typewriter back again, Manuel :) I'm still looking for the word processor on this computer. Hopefully soon.
Good to hear from you, Fred!
Thanks, Jacqueline. Mine was ten years old and needed a well deserved break. Plus it had the Vista program which they are phasing out.
Considering I named myself after my beloved 1938 Royal KHM typewriter, I understand!
After all these years, I remember the feeling of the glass-covered keys, the smell of the ink ribbon, and the satisfying pock-pock of keys hammering ink into paper. For the past 30 years (since I lost that typewriter in an arson fire), part of me has been waiting for the *ding* telling me to hit the carriage return lever.

Congrats on the new computer!
Computers are a fad! Pretty soon we'll go back to the good ol' wooden shingle and a bit of charcoal.
Please take whatever time you need. Please also know that I don't thank you enough for what you do. So ... thank you.
