Thanks for the link, Sean! And, yeah, it made me happy that she liked my story but, man, she really blasted the anthology.
I originally heard about this new imprint from a link via another writer's blog (I won't embarrass them by identifying the writer) and submitted a query to them for my novella.
Heard about this particular issue the next day on Facebook (I follow Writer's Beware on FB), and now I'm hoping/praying that my query gets rejected.
Even if it's accepted, G, you still have the option of signing a contract or asking them to change what you don't like. You're not locked in until the contract's signed.
True, but I'm still hoping for a rejection just the same. I didn't e-mail them the manuscript, just filled out their form (which took me about a half hour to do) for the query.
