Box Fire Press has issued a call for submissions to their newest sci-fi/fantasy anthology. The story must include this reference "a violet figurine, somehow in someway, near a fireplace". 300 to 10,000 words with a November 31 deadline. There is no mention of payment. You can find the details here.
