The Forgotten

Nope, this isn't part of Patti Abbott's forgotten books, but do be sure to drop on over there and check out the list of forgotten books http://pattinase.blogspot.com/ . It's a link to a forgotten short story writer, Allan Seagar, and the tale of his most famous short story, "The Street". Short stories stick with you whether you realize it or not. I believe they have more impact than a novel because they hit you so fast in such a short space of time. And with their brevity your mind can replay the story over and over, making it hold fast to your subconscious.
