A Murder of Storytellers has posted a call for "Sorry We're Closed".  They're looking for horror stories up to 10,000 words using the theme of abandoned buildings.  Reprints are okay.  The deadline is August 13, 2018 and payment is $15.  You can find the details here.

Robot Dinosaurs - Early Notice

Robot Dinosaurs has posted a call for short stories of 750 to 1200 words that feature a robot dinosaur.  The submission period is August 1 to August 15, 2018.  Payment is $60.  You can find the details here.

Camden Park Press - Anthology Call

This anthology call came through SMFS from Camden Park Press.  They are looking for short stories of 3000 to 7000 words for their anthology "Quoth the Raven".  They want the stories to be a 21st century perspective of Poe's work.  The deadline is August 30, 2018 and payment is a royalty share.  You can find the details here.

Feral Cat Publications - Anthology Call

Feral Cat Publications has posted an anthology call for "Bubble Off-Plumb".  They're looking for stories of 1000 to 5000 words in any genre.  The deadline is September 30, 2018 and payment is 3cents word plus a royalty split.  You can find the details here.

The Sirens Call - Open for Submissions

The Sirens Call is open for submissions for issue #40.  The theme is "As Summer Leaves and Autumn Falls".  They're looking for horror/dark fiction stories of 100 words to 2500 words that take place at the end of summer.  The deadline is August 10, 2018.  This is a non-paying market, but they also take reprints.  You can find the details here.  They also have all their back issues along with the current issue available for download on this page.

Escape Pod - Early Notice

Escape Pod has posted a call for holiday-themed science fiction stories of 1500 to 6000 words.  The submission period is October 1 to October 15.  Payment is 6cents a word for original stories.  Reprints are welcome and pay $20 for flash fiction and $100 for short stories.  You can find the call here.  Be sure to check out the regular submission guidelines for more details

Crossed Genres - Anthology Call
