It's a rare thing to hear noir and Westerns used in tandem by noir aficionados, so when I caught the title of Woody Haut's blog post, "Noir on Horseback" I decided to drop on over and have a read. He takes a look at Arnold Hano's, writing as Gil Dodge, novel "Flint" which is based on Jim Thompson's "Savage Night". You can read the post here
