I not sure why, but the Spinetingler website has disappeared. I know they were closing down but they were supposed to be publishing more stories.
UPDATE: And it looks like former Spinetinger editors Sandra Ruttan and Brian Lindenmuth are starting up a new crime magazine called Toe Six Press. No guidelines up yet, I'll keep watch and let you know.

I just discovered it was gone this morning. The way this whole deal crashed and burned so quickly is sad.
Yes it is, Kevin. Those things happen and there's nothing the writers can do about it. I just hope the current owner will deal fairly with the writers who had stories accepted.
I wonder about that since apparently bylines were being changed on things just before the website vanished.
I read about that on Twitter. I was thinking more of the writers who had stories accepted and were to published before Spinetingler closed its doors. Of course with the site gone who knows what's going to happen with their stories.
My thought....which did not come through too well....was that once that was done, I figured all bets were off on publication of accepted stories. Now that the website is gone, whatever might have happened never will.
