A Flash Challenge From Brian Lindenmuth

Over at the Do Some Damage blog Brian Lindenmuth posted a flash challenge for a Book Title Story.  He wants you to write a story in 1000 words or less using as many book titles as possible while still writing a story that actually makes sense.  Post the story to your blog and drop a link on his post so he knows where to read your story.  There will be prizes.  You can check out the details here.

UPDATE:  Brian extended the deadline to September 28, so those of you thinking of joining in, there's still time.

No, he hasn't posted on Do Some Damage for the last two weeks so I don't know what's going on.

Good morning Sandra,
Thanks for keeping people posted about possible writing opportunities.
Your blog lead me to another publisher that accepted one of my short stories for their anthology.
I will get back to you with the details when the anthology is published.
I would like to vent for a moment, not about you, but about this contest.
It would have been nice if the Editor that called for the contest would have notified the public if the contest was cancelled, or whatever happened to it.
I would guess that the average writer put in a few hours working on this project.
I wonder if this was some kind of prank for the enjoyment of the crew at Do Some damage.
Thanks again for the great service you provide.

Do Some Damage has run other flash challenges and I know Brian usually keeps up with his projects so I don't know what happened with one. I'm sorry that it didn't work out. And I really hate when there are calls and the editors don't follow through. It's happened more than once to me and it doesn't get any less irritating. :)

And congrats on your acceptance!!
