Off the Grid For a While

Postings will once again be light to non-existent for a bit.  In the space of three weeks I've lost my mother and now my husband.  Neither death was expected as neither of them were ill and to tell the truth I'm having a bit of trouble coping.  One minute I'm fine, the next crying my heart out.  Nothing really prepares you for such loss.  March Madness has come to have a whole new meaning for me.  Take care my friends and treasure those you love.  Life can change in the blink of an eye.

My sympathies. I lost Judy back in November, and I'm still trying to cope. I know exactly what you mean by saying that one minute you're fine and the next you're not. Even after four months, I'm still right there. Take care of yourself.

I can't even imagine what you're going through. I can only offer my support and gratitude for what you do here.

I hope that you'll find someone to talk to and be able to move forward in life even if it doesn't seem possible right now.

All the best to you.

I'm sorry for your recent loss of your husband and mother. I lost my mother two years ago and it takes awhile to get yourself together but the good thing is you'll never forget the times you two shared.

Sandra. I wish I could find words that would give you real comfort, but I know I can't. I can only say how sad I am for you, which is not even a patch on the grief you must be feeling. God keep you.
