The Fog Horn - Open for Submissions
The Fog Horn is a digital magazine sold through the Apple App store. They are currently open for submissions to stories of 1200 to 8500 words in any genre. They publish four stories monthly. Payment is $1,000. You can find all the details here.
You're probably right. I'm sure big names will show up and it will when awards.
It cracks me up when someone like John Joseph Adams whens an award for best anthology. How good an editor do you have to be when Stephen King, Peter Straub, and Joyce Carol Oates are in your book?

That's what it says, but with that kind of pay, the pros will be all over it. Chances will be slim to none for the rest of us :)

I'm a pretty unknown author and I got a story in the first issue! I encourage everyone to submit :)
