A Pair of Token Sci-fi Markets

There seems to a massive lack of new markets for short stories of late.  The anthologies I've been finding are either non-paying or invitation only.  I found a pair of sci-fi markets today but they're only paying token payments, which is better than a kick in the teeth :)  One is Chrome Baby and the other is Scigentasy Magazine which is looking for gender (female) stories.

I have actually subbed to (and been rejected) by both of these markets.

Chrome Baby responded in 12 days with a personal rejection. (They liked my poem but didn't think it fit.)

Scigentasy sent a form rejection in 7 days.

Those are both good response times. Also, Scigentasy accepts more than just women's gender stories. They'll also take LGBTQ stories and even men's stories if they're gender-oriented.

As for Chrome Baby, they close their submissions for lengthy periods (or at least have done so in the past) so if you want in on that action submit now.
