The 2011 StorySouth Million Writers Award has opened for nominations. Eligible stories must be 1000 words or longer and published in an online zine or journal that has an editorial process in place. Readers/writers can nominate one story each and editors can nominate 3. The deadline is March 15 so get your nominations in. While this award does have cash prizes for the winning writers the side bonus for these nominations is discovering new zines and writers out there on the 'net.
