Third Flatiron Press opened submissions today for their Spring anthology with the theme of "Monstrosities". They're looking for stories of 1500 to 3000 and humorous flash pieces up to 600 words in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. All stories must fit the theme. The deadline is December 31, 2017 and payment is 6cents a word.

That's an improvement; when I sold them a story a few years ago (for the "Abbreviated Epics" anthology) they paid 3 cents a word!
Yes, they've changed the pay scale several times, always for the better thankfully.
And ... this went right out of my head 'til I saw it again. Still got a week and a half ....
