Apex Publications has acquired their book line which is great for their authors. Always good to hear good news for authors when a publication decides to close up shop.

They only dissolved their book line. They're still planning futures issues of Shock Totem magazine and one-off limited edition releases. =)
Yes, but the magazine has been on hiatus for over two years now, so my hopes aren't high for seeing the magazine make a comeback.
