Using the Heroine's Journey by Chris Winkle

The lovely Michael Bracken emailed me a link to the Mythcreants blog where Chris Winkle posted an essay titled "Using the Heroine's Journey".  It's an interesting take on switching up the hero's journey in storytelling to the heroine's journey.
