A huge congratulations to Spinetingler!! The online zine has just made the approved publications list for the Mystery Writers of America which makes their short stories eligible for Edgar Award nominations. Hooray!! It's just been in the past year that the online zines have made this list. Other online publications that are approved include The Back Alley, Necrotic Tissue, and SnipLits. Hooray!!

It'll be even bigger news when one makes the list for an Edgar.
I hope to see that happen in my lifetime, Patti! And it will be big news. With things switching so fast to electonic publishing, eventually that might be all that the new generation of MWA will know. They won't appreciate being left out.
