Red Rabbit Publishing has opened submissions for their first anthology. They're looking for military science fiction of 3000 to 6000 words.  The deadline is February 28, 2018 and payment is 3cents a word.  You can find the details here.

While searching for markets I ran across the winners of the San Diego City Beat 2017 Fiction 101 Contest.  My favorite is "The Swap" by Scotty Hoopes.  One of the best ways I've seen to get away with murder :)  It's one of the honorable mentions so you'll have to scroll down the page to read it.

Bouchercon 2018 - Anthology Call

Submissions have opened for the Bouchercon 2018 anthology "Sunny Places, Shady People".  They are looking for stories of 1500 to 5000 words set in or inspired by Florida.  The deadline is February 1, 2018 and payment is $75.  And yes, that is a first for the Bouchercon anthologies, they're actually paying the writers this year.  You can find the details here.

Parvus Press - Anthology Call

Parvus Press has opened submissions for their anthology "If This Goes On".  They are seeking speculative fiction stories up to 5000 words that "open our eyes to our future".  Stories must include the "impact of current political policy as a meaningful aspect of the story".  The deadline is March 1, 2018 and payment is 8cents a word.  You can find the details here.

Words and Brushes - No Fee Contest

Words and Brushes has an interesting contest up called Collaboration Five.  They're looking for short stories of 2000 to 4000 words in any genre based on the paintings they have posted on the site.  The deadline is February 15, 2018 and the winner receives $350.  There's no fee to enter.  You can find the details here.  And even if you don't want to enter the contest, the paintings are a wonderful inspiration.

Out of the Gutter Online - Call for Christmas Flash Stories

Smoking Pen Press - Anthology Calls

For those of you who write romance stories Smoking Pen Press has opened submissions for two romance anthologies.  The first is "A Wink and a Smile" which is looking for stories of 1000 to 7000 words with a deadline of January 1, 2018.  The second is "A Kiss and a Promise" which is looking for stories of 7,000 to 12,000 words with a deadline of February 14, 2018.  Stories can be in any genre (except erotica) as long as romance is the key factor in your story.  Both pay $25 and reprints are okay.  You can find the details for both here.

Fireside Magazine - Early Warning for Submissions

Fireside Magazine will open for submissions on November 5 and close November 11, 2017.  I'm posting this early so you'll have a bit of warning for this short submission window.  And please note that this is subject to change so be sure to check before submitting.  They are looking for flash stories up to 1000 word and short fiction of 1000 to 4000 words in any genre with a heavy leaning towards speculative fiction.  Payment is 12.5cents per word.  You can find the details here, keep scrolling down the page because there is information all the way to the bottom of the page.
