Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine is currently open for submissions.  Stories should be 3000 to 7000 words.  There's no mention of payment so you'll need to query for that.  You can find the details here, just scroll down the page.  Wildside Press is the publisher.

Gamut Opens at Midnight Tonight

Gamut opens for submissions at midnight tonight (Oct. 1).  Last month they hit their 300 submissions mark within 14 hours so don't dawdle about getting your submission in.  You can find the details here.

Zombies Need Brains LLC - Anthology Calls

Zombies Need Brains LLC has just completed a successful KickStarter to fund three new anthologies which are now open for submissions.  They are looking for sci-fi and fantasy stories up to 7500 words for "Submerged", "All Hail Our Robot Conquerors!", and "The Death of All Things".  The deadline is December 31, 2016 and payment is 6cents a word.  You can find the submission details for all three calls here.

Grey Matter Press - Flash Fiction Contest

Grey Matter Press is having a flash fiction contest on their blog.  They're looking for flash pieces of 500 to 700 words that use the theme "I Can Taste the Blood".  Just post your story in the comments section of their blog for people to vote.  The winner will be published in the ebook version of the anthology "I Can Taste the Blood" plus a $50 Visa gift card, second place will receive a $25 Amazon gift card, and third place will receive a $25 gift code for Grey Matter Press' book store.  The deadline is October 21.  You can check it out here.

DeadLights - New Market

DeadLights is a new horror fiction magazine.  They have just opened submissions and are looking for flash of 300 to 700 words, shorts of 2000 to 7000 words, poetry, and creative non-fiction of 300 to 3000 words.  Payment is $10 for flash, $50 for shorts, $10 for poetry, and $5 to $10 for creative non-fiction.  Artwork varies from $5 to $80.  The deadline for the first issue is December 15, 2016 and that issue will go live on February 1, 2017.  You can find the details here.

Book Reviewer Yellow Pages has posted an anthology call.  While the guidelines are a trifle confusing most of the confusion is settled in the comments section.  What they're looking for is short stories in the genres of romance and spooky stories, and essays in the genres of humor and non-fiction uplifting stories (similar to the Chicken Soup essays).  Your pieces should be 7000 to 15,000 words.  The deadline is November 30, 2016 and payment is $100 to $125 depending on word count.  You can find the details here.

Kristell Ink - Anthology Calls

U K based Kristell Ink has posted three speculative fiction anthology calls.  The titles are "Infinate Dysmorphia", "Terra Nullius", and "Holding on by Our Fingertips".  They're looking for stories of 6000 to 10.000 words.  The deadline for all is January 31, 2017 and payment is 10pounds.  You can find the details here.

The Lascaux Review

The Lascaux Review is now paying $100 for literary stories, poems, and essays.  Their submissions are through submittable but be careful when you submit as they have one choice where you pay $3 and one that is free.  Their contests have big prizes but the fees are also fairly steep ($10 and $20).  You can check them out here.

Lamplight Magazine - Open for Submissions

Lamplight Magazine has opened submissions today for dark literary stories in any genre up to 7,000 words.  The deadline is November 15, 2016.  Payment is 3cents a word with a cap of $150 for original stories and 1cent a word for reprints.  Submissions are through Submittable.  You'll find the editor's name in the Index of Writes link  You can find the details here.

Felony & Mayhem is open for novel submissions.  They're looking for literary mysteries of 75,000 words and up but no hard-boiled or neo noir.  While they usually publish out of print books they are stating to publish new novels.  There's no mention of payment so that's something you'll have to query.  You can find the details here.  But be sure to read their FAQ page for more info and you'll find the publisher's name on the about page :)

Mofo Press, an imprint of Mugwump Press, has posted an anthology call for "Wanderlust".  They're looking for erotic tales of wanderlust of 1000 to 5000 words.  While this is an erotica anthology call you could easily incorporate crime fiction into your story.  The deadline is November 3, 2016 and payment is 1cent a word.  You can  find the details here.

North American Review Press - New Crime Imprint

From the lovely Michael Bracken comes this link to North American Review Press and their new imprint called Gas Station Pulp.  They're looking for novels of 60,000 to 75,000 words that combine old school crime noir with literary character driven fiction.  Submissions open on December 1 and run through to December 30.  There's no mention of their payment rates so that's something you'll have to query.  Submissions will be through their Submittable page here.
